We're always saying something, right? With our lips, our body language; even our silence speaks - volumes, sometimes. This probably comes at no surprise to you, but I don't always think about what I am "saying" - especially when I am saying it in silence.
I think about God's messengers - strong, masculine angels, fit for the task. I think of the prophets who had God's word burning up their bones. I realize the only message I really want to deliver is whatever God wants me to share. The Bible has so much to say about communication, and I fall so short most days. I just want to be a mockingbird - just repeating the love of God I picked up in song and passing it along because that is what I am supposed to do.
The waves are crashing and declaring the glory of God, and I want to, too.
STOP.
