I was in the middle of one of those seasons earlier this year. My anxiety was higher than I have ever experienced and my chance for rest and replenishment was roughly 0%. Thankfully when I found myself at my wits end I stumbled upon Lisa Grace Byrne's 7 Days to Calm video series. It was free and required minimal time, both of which put it right in my ballpark. I signed up and it made a world of a difference.
7 Days to Calm is a week long e-mail series that contains short (usually 5 minutes or less) videos that share simple "tools" to help trigger your calm response internally despite what may be going on externally.
Sometimes rest isn't an option, but I am learning that calm is a choice that is always an option. In watching the 7 Days to Calm I learned small tools that made a big difference in my ability to calmly and peacefully carry on when rest might be a little out of reach.
