On Mondays I share just a quick word - usually something I have jotted down from my recent readings - to ponder as you face your week head-on. Monday musings, if you will. This word is for mommas, or anyone who is unsure they have what it takes to spiritually influence another.
My grandfather's obituary was the last thing I wrote for an audience in 2014. He was diagnosed with cancer less than two months ago. Try as I may, I have been unable to explain fully how much he meant to me. 2014 has sent many curve-balls my way that knocked the words right out of me. I'm looking forward to a fresh start in this new year and I'm happy to be back here again sharing on a regular basis. Thank you for sticking around!
On Mondays I share just a quick word - usually something I have jotted down from my recent readings - to ponder as you face your week head-on. Monday musings, if you will. This week's quote is pulled from The Nesting Place by Myquillyn Smith, which is quickly becoming my favorite home design book ever. Get it. Read it.
I'm a blog-at-home mom who writes because my sanity depends on it. I'm a Jesus-lover, family gal, coffee addict, recovering hoarder in a small New England town that bears a suspiciously close resemblance to "Stars Hallow" (and if you know where that is, we're friends already!). I am working towards simple living, one step at a time.
